They changed very little to both. He said Batman and Tomb Raider are titles and they could be filled by someone not BW or LC, neither happened.

And there we go, you obviously don't know Lara Croft's original backstory because in the original series her parents don't die when she's young, that was added in the reboot.

I guess you are right, I don't remember ever seeing LC parents on the first 2 games of the original series, she was alone with the butler on the manor... and in the 2000 and 2013 reboots she was orphan.

Still white rich british woman (also in neither game she being orphan was much of a starting point for her as char, at most it's used on the Rise to put the stepmother as plot element).

Also the relevant point is that you said Batman and TR are titles that others could inherit... both are still pertaining to same BW and LC.
