https://www.pcgamer.com/battlefield-5s-airborne-mode-will-parachute-players-into-the-fight/
Last week's big Battlefield 5 reveal gave us the basics of what's in store—it'll be set in World War 2, and people will shoot at each other—but there's still quite a bit we don't know. EA revealed one such unknown element on Twitter yesterday, a new attack-and-defend game mode called Airborne, in which one team drops from the sky to destroy some artillery, while the other does its best to keep the guns firing.

The Sky Noon beta test that ran in April went well, according to a recent update from developer Lunar Rooster, and so with that taken care of the studio has announced that an Early Access launch has been set for June 14.
Sky Noon is basically what would happen if you mixed LawBreakers with Lee Van Cleef and gave everybody overpowered Airsoft guns.

The Fortnite "Solo Showdown" limited time competitive mode that debuted last month is back with an updated format and a new name: Blitz Showdown. https://www.pcgamer.com/insurgency-sandstorm-gets-september-release-date/
Insurgency: Sandstorm, the sequel to objective-based multiplayer FPS Insurgency, will release in September, developer New World Interactive has announced.
It'll cost $29.99 on Steam, and it'll come with four game modes: Push, Firefight, and Capture the Base for versus play, plus Checkpoint for co-op. All but Capture the Base featured in the first game. Checkpoint pitted players against AI soldiers with set objectives, like destroying ammo caches, while in Push and Firefight players had to work in teams to capture objectives against online opponents.

Path of Exile launches time-bending Incursion league
https://www.pcgamer.com/path-of-exile-launches-time-bending-incursion-league/
Path of Exile's Incursion league, which Steven spoke to the developers about in length last month, is now live.
Incursion has you hunt down Atzoatl, an ancient Vaal treasure temple. To reveal its location, you'll have to travel back in time to its construction. That requires you to find Alva Valai, a new NPC, who will send you back in time to a random room in the temple. There, you'll have a limited amount of time (as little as 30 seconds) to kill as many monsters as you can, with each kill granting more time. At the end of the fight, you can claim your loot.

Where the Water Tastes Like Wine adds 15 more stories and automatic walking
https://www.pcgamer.com/where-the-water-tastes-like-wine-adds-15-more-stories-and-automatic-walking/
We were pretty excited about American folk-tale travelogue Where the Water Tastes Like Wine when we first heard about it, but upon release our reviewer Tyler Wilde was moderate in his praise (...)
(...)The June 3 patch, called the 'Tall Tales Update', further tweaks the pacing, with an autowalk option activated by pressing F so you don't have to wear down the W key on your long trek across the United States (it's right bumper on controller). As well as modifying the way travel works, and catching a few bugs, this patch adds to the trove of tales you'll find while criss-crossing America.

https://www.pcgamer.com/demolition-derby-racer-wreckfest-is-leaving-its-four-year-early-access-stint-this-month/
Wreckfest, the demolition derby-themed racer from Finnish developer Bugbear Entertainment, will release on June 14, following nearly four and a half years in Early Access.
It has a mixture of game modes, from straight-up destruction derbies to more regular races, but the emphasis is always on massive crashes. The cars have "soft-body damage modeling" and will crumple and warp satisfyingly on impact. You can play online or solo, and it has a career mode where you'll compete across a variety of race types and unlock new cars as you go.

The indie developers will retain complete control of their projects, IGV said.

Rockshot looks a lot like a free-to-play Devil's Third Online spiritual successor
https://www.pcgamer.com/rockshot-looks-a-lot-like-a-free-to-play-devils-third-online-spiritual-successor/
Rockshot is a free-to-play, third-person action game that's out today in Early Access. It's developed by Soleil—a subsidiary of Valhalla Game Studios, the team responsible for the 2015, Tomonobu Itagaki-directed Devil's Third. Why does that matter? Rockshot looks a lot like that game's ill-fated online component.
