The ESA is just a mouthpiece of the big publishers, nothing they say comes from their own motivation.

I know. But there are better ways to say that stupidity. When you're in that kind of position and PR relevance, you need to know how to say certain things in a way that don't make you look like a fool, something that the ESA president didn't do.
