Please do. Always keep all electronics on a surge protector.

If your internet runs over any kind of copper cable (I.E. DSL, Hybrid Fiber Coax etc'), get a surge protector on that as well.
The amount of callouts I have had because of shit going wrong over the years due to lack of surge protectors is nuts.

I ended up getting the surge protector!! Now I don't have to worry (as much...)
