I understand what you are saying but you are still bringing up another issue. PC gamers can be critical on what serves them best in terms of apps etc however PC gamers don't normally argue about games on PC within each other. Its almost none existent in the PC community because they can still play the game regardless if they like the apps they use or not. In the console market place, its an entire battlefield in comparisons, where it actually leads to bullying and insulting remarks to one another because Gamer (A) likes Console (B) while Gamer (B) loves console (A) exclusives etc. I criticize PC all the time, lately iv been hitting on Steam, a program iv had for more than 12 years with over 1000 paid games and one of my most used apps on my PC, that's a personal issue with me and Steam and not a community issue.. and when it comes to the games its like everyone is at peace within each other because we all respect the fact we can play the same games. Adding Exclusives so others cannot play them is one of the main issues why console gamers fight within each other. Sure PC has exclusives within the market place but those exclusives are based on free software which is accessible to everyone, those PC gamers that don't want to use a app because they don't like it is under there own decision and choice, no one is forcing there hand to buy another platform to play a game. |
Yet PC gamers are all the time complaining about not getting ports of console peasantry right?
