It is illegal to sell to a resident out of state at a gun show or otherwise. And you also might want to look up the definition of dealer. People at gun shows are actively participating in the sale of firearms. They could easily fit the definition.

Didn't once disagree with any of this in this thread. I said guns can easily be illegally obtained (Fake IDs was an example how someone can purchase a weapon in a different state) and then legally take it with him/her across state lines.

I also said the Brady Bill federally covers licensed sellers with background checks, not unlicensed private sellers, many of which can be found at gun shows.

And no, a private seller selling a gun is not going to change gun crime so you can wail to close the "loophole" all you want. Nothing changes. BTW, it's also not a loophole because it's very intentionally that way. Think of the feds as MS and a gun the xbox-one games pre launch.

Again, if you don't want to close the loophole, how do you curb school shootings in America? Do you believe school shootings are a problem? So far, you've been telling me the country shouldn't do something because it won't work. That's like saying making murder shouldn't be illegal because people will still kill.

Are you suggesting that the gun show sales are directly related to school shootings? I can't tell if you are relating the two in your first question or if you are just switching to a different issue
