Part two of the news:
Jetpacks are coming to Fortnite as a limited time item
https://www.pcgamer.com/fortnite-jetpacks/
Read that headline carefully. Jetpacks are coming to Fortnite as a limited time item, not as an item in a bespoke jetpack limited time mode. The news comes by way of Epic's usual unceremonious and vague notices on the news board in the Fortnite client. Jetpacks were originally intended for Season 3, but they were shelved due to a last-minute issue.
Update: Looks like jetpacks are arriving tomorrow along with the 4.2 content update.
Become an amoral AI in Smart Home
https://www.pcgamer.com/become-an-amoral-ai-in-smart-home/
20 years ago, we worried that the development of artificial intelligence would lead inexorably to the annihilation of humanity. These days, most of us have already invited the machine mind into our homes. That's the very broad basis for Smart Home, a "moral questioning thriller" in which the player becomes a self-aware AI in control of "Internet of Things"-enabled devices in someone's house, and at least nominally at the beck and call of the owner.
Call of Duty: Black Ops campaigns could come back
https://www.pcgamer.com/call-of-duty-black-ops-campaigns-could-come-back/
"[The single player mode] is only missing at this moment in time," senior producer Yale Miller told Daily Star. "I really think with every game we make, we finish that title and then we ask, 'What is it fans are gonna love the most?' If that’s another traditional campaign, then we’ll make another traditional campaign."
>>Fancy word to say that if the game doesn't sell as well as they think, they'll make a 180º.

Build and defend pillow forts in twin-stick shooter Sleep Tight this July
https://www.pcgamer.com/build-and-defend-pillow-forts-in-twin-stick-shooter-sleep-tight-this-july/
Sleep Tight is a twin-stick shooter about building a base and fending off waves of monsters. That probably sounds familiar, but here's the kicker: you play as a kid defending their playroom from things that go bump in the night using water balloons and Nerf guns, and your base is made of pillows and blankets. It's kind of like Monsters Inc. meets Killing Floor, and as appropriately named developer We Are Fuzzy announced today, it's coming to PC July 26.
Please excuse my bad English.
