You want gaming to move into the all-digital-only-era? One of the main benefits of physical media is that your purchases retain some of their value- or even go up in value- as the years go on. What I'm saying is that I always have the opportunity to sell my games if I wanted some of that money back.

The downside to digital is there is no guarantee it will be available if the ecosystem doesn't thrive. The Wii eShop is going down in less than a year, and all the digital games I purchased are going to be lost.

I'm not an elitist who refuses to buy digital games by any means, but yeah...
