The managers of the largest companies have a huge impact on our society and politics. So it is fair to have a balanced representation there.

This quota could have a negative impact in the short term, but in the long term, companies will ensure that their female employees are given equivalent education to their male colleagues.

The way the free market works is that if you disregarding individuals because of biases you will lose out. 

Let's say a bank didn't accept black clients, another bank would take that marketshare. 

Their isn't a conspiracy theory that males are disregarding female managers and executives to keep each other are the top, if they did so they would lose business.

And even if they did the market would fix that on its own.
