I'm tired of this overemphasis on diversity spilling into our entertainment.

Personality:  And Light was so much better?  You've gotta be kidding me.  Movie Light is so much further from Anime Light than L is, that your comparison is laughable to me.  

 

The character looks more white than they do Japanese in the anime. I had to remind myself they are in Japan constantly just like Yugioh.

Both personalities were way off, but I could at least see how Light kind of looks the part. L was just an embarrassment all around.
