Ubisoft has announced its fiscal 2017-18 results. The company is reporting total annual sales of €1,731.9 million, up 18.6% year on year. Annual digital revenue is up 37.8% to €1,004.7 million (representing 58.0% of total sales versus 50.0% for the previous fiscal year).

Valve appears to be cracking down on sexual content in Steam games, with three separate developers claiming that they've been told their games will be taken off the platform if they don't remove some of their most explicit content.
All of the games have anime-style visuals and are overtly sexual in nature, but their genres vary. Lupiesoft, developer of a visual novel called Mutiny!!, said it had been contacted by Valve about "reports of pornographic content" in its game. The developer says that it makes "sexy games" containing nudity, but that "nothing in Mutiny!! violates [Valve's] guidelines", and that the game's publisher MangaGamer had previously met with Valve to clarify what was and wasn't allowed.

Ubisoft: Skulls and Bones delayed, The Division 2 and unannounced triple-A game coming by March 2019

Ubisoft has also announced that Skull and Bones won’t hit its expected release date, and that the company now targets a 2020 release. Skull & Bones is a pirate game in which gamers will take command of their own warship to live the ultimate pirate experience alongside their friends and become a legend of the open-ocean.

Activision and Treyarch have launched their Black Ops 4 community reveal, during which they presented its first official multiplayer gameplay trailer. According to the developers there won’t be any wall run or thrust boost.
UPDATE: Treyarch has revealed the first trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Zombies Mode.

 

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will release on Battle.net, will feature battle-royale mode, won’t feature single-player

Activision has confirmed all the rumours that were leaked for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. As the publisher revealed, the game will not feature any single-player mode, it will come with a battle-royale mode, and it will release exclusively on Battle.net.

As the press release reads, interested players can join the more than 30 million Rainbow Six Siege player community. Stunlock Studios revealed today the first concept artwork showcasing the island map for Battlerite Royale, their anticipated game mode coming to Steam in July 2018. Talon Island, as the map is named, is 30 times larger than a standard arena mode map and is divided into several different areas like the town of Anvilfall, the Glimmering Woods, the Starlight Oasis, and the Ancient Tomb.

 

Next No Man’s Sky update will bring PVP, dogfights and proper multiplayer support

In the third episode of “Inside Xbox”, Sean Murray revealed that No Man’s Sky will receive proper multiplayer support. This multiplayer update, called No Man’s Sky NEXT, will come out on July 24th.
According to Murray, this update will bring PVP support, will feature dogfights, shared base building, races, team-based multiplayer or randomly encounters with other players.
