For people complaining about the face - Think

The original design for Tifa is anime! The OP image loses the anime look and goes for what Tifa could like as a actual real life human being. So of course so liberties were taken with face. Even Advent children Tifa's face looks different compared to her OG design.

For me, it might sound corny but there's a kindness to Tifa which shows through her original design and her Advent Children version that I really don't feel in this rendition.

It think you are confusing the looks with mannerisms. Tifa was definitely the big sister of the group.
