No one said its confirmed or official, but when you have IGN, Eurogamer, Emily, Kotaku, Dasbergen Gamexplain and Game Informer that all backed this rumor up, that means that rumour is most likely true.

Reporting a rumour is not the same thing as corroborating it. When something like this becomes a news story, all the main sites recover it regardless of whether they have verified it independently. That's not backing up a rumour, just repeating it.

Yeah just in case of Eurogamer, Emily, Kotaku and Gamexplain they all said they heard same/similar thing from they own sources also.
