Command and Conquer is a fun RTS game that has a cheesy but great soundtrack and FMV. Otherwise, Diablo and Diablo 2 are both cool 2D isometric games. Diablo is especially interesting because the mood of that game is darker and more Gothic than either Diablo 2 or Diablo 3.
