Wolfenstein: The New Order. Just an amazing game before the feminists came in and ruined the sequel. That was the first time I invested into a Single player only FPS game, and man it felt amazing. The level design, their was an actual reason to kill the bad guys, and the ending got me emotional.
Doom is also pretty good, but it is more of a run and gun game, and not a story based one. Halfway through Doom 2016 on the Switch.
