I would like to see a chunk of time dedicated to showcasing the tech/rendering side of things. But that's just me personally. |
I don't mind them having a bit of a tech showcase for games (not just "wow, look at the latest intel CPU"), but I would like the show to run for about an hour or two, and not 4 hours of non stop gabbing of games, and not showing much if anything of them.
I want to see talk of PC games as well, and not just the same exact devs that showed up at any of the other E3 booths during the week. I'd also love to see some devs that aren't just indie related. I got bored to death with the last two PC e3's, with the majority being all talk and little to show, with a lot of early access resulting from those events (either mentioned during the event or released onto Steam as an early access title after the event). I want to see some devs that have a complete game to show off, and not one they plan on using early access for, because that is one sure fire way to kill most of my hype and general excitement for a game.
back in 2013 I thought ea was alright, but fast forward to today and now even AAA devs are doing it that it ultimately cheapens the feel of the game, as well as making PC look like a massive beta testing cheap rent a mule service (Whatever happened to knowing what people wanted, knowing what you were able to accomplish and then simply acting on those parts?).
I do hope this year's PC e3 comes with some games to really grab me, and not just a load of gibberish and indie early access titles either.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
