https://www.pcgamer.com/middle-earth-shadow-of-war-gets-desolation-of-mordor-story-dlc/
Thanks to Tim, the mere thought of Middle-earth: Shadow of War conjures Mozû the Blight's disfigured kisser in my mind. A far handsomer face is Minis Ithil sargeant Baranor's—who supported Talion in the main campaign and who stars in its latest story expansion, Desolation of Mordor.

https://www.pcgamer.com/destiny-2-warmind-patch-notes-detail-all-the-changes-in-season-3/
The big Destiny 2: Warmind expansion is live, and that means we can finally look at the patch notes to see what exactly awaits the next time we dive into the game. This list is predictably big, but highlights include an increase in the level cap to 30 and the Power level to 385, multi-emotes, PvP rankings and private matches, and Exotic Masterworks.

>>And there's a Sephen Fry cameo in it (I don't know if it's a spoiler or not).

https://www.pcgamer.com/epic-warns-against-fortnite-android-beta-scam/
Fortnite is a pretty big game right now—you may have noticed the big purple chin who recently started playing—and as is the way of the world, that means that some unscrupulous people are going to try to exploit it for personal gain. Specifically, I'm talking about reports of emails inviting people to take part in a beta test of Fortnite Battle Royale on Android, which Epic says is a scam.

The 2018 International Battle Pass offers some very interesting new things for Dota 2 players, foremost among them The Underhollow, a new game mode that has three-player teams setting off on a competitive quest for cheese that sounds an awful lot like an underground battle royale.

Night in the Woods dev slams crunch work culture: 'people are going to die'

Night in the Woods is a wonderful, heartfelt and often humorous coming of age narrative adventure game. Andy loved it, and it's since won a host of prestigious awards. Behind the scenes, though, bouts of crunch negatively impacted developer Infinite Fall more than its whimsical game might have let on. Scott Benson thinks a cultural shift is required.

'Prison Architect gave us the balls to make it' say Two Point Hospital developers
https://www.pcgamer.com/prison-architect-gave-us-the-balls-to-make-it-say-two-point-hospital-developers/
Two Point Hospital is very much the spiritual successor to Theme Hospital, the medical management game developed by Bullfrog in 1997. But creators Mark Webley and Gary Carr—also two of the minds behind the creation of Theme Hospital—told us in a recent interview that they owe a debt to Prison Architect, an institution simulator of a different sort that was released in 2015.

>>And they wanted to have DJ Alan Partridge in the game...
