https://www.pcgamer.com/hearthstone-team-considering-nerfing-cubelock-quest-rogue-and-paladin-once-hct-is-over/
The annual rotation of the Standard format is usually the most exciting time in Hearthstone, with multiple expansions leaving and a new set arriving at once. But so far the Year of the Raven has felt a little stale, and that feeling is backed up by the numbers. According to HSReplay.net, the impact of The Witchwood on the meta has been much less than that of the previous rotation set.

https://www.pcgamer.com/destiny-2-warmind-launch-trailer-teases-new-raid-lair-and-first-exotic-sword/
The (hopefully) big Destiny 2 expansion Warmind is set to arrive tomorrow, and that means it's finally time to kick back and take in the loud, blast-o-rama spectacle of the launch trailer. We've already seen a lot of what's in here but there a glimpse of some new stuff too, including the new Spire of Stars raid lair and Worldline Zero, the first Exotic sword to appear in the sequel.

>>That tomorrow is today.

https://www.pcgamer.com/state-of-decay-2-system-requirements-are-out/
The zombie survival game State of Decay 2 has previously been given a release date, a technical test, and a pleasing degree of character complexity reflected and revealed in the struggles and relationships of its cast of survivors. Courtesy of the State of Decay 2 page on the Microsoft Store, it also now has some system requirements.

https://www.pcgamer.com/198x-is-like-an-entire-80s-arcade-crammed-into-one-game/
Swedish developer Hi-Bit Studios describes 198X as an "arcade epic" and "a coming-of-age story told through multiple games and genres." It's currently on Kickstarter, and at the time of writing has raised $34,206 of its $56,830 goal with 25 days left in its campaign. It stars Kid, a teenager who falls in love with the five games at his local arcade in Suburbia, all of which exist as separate, playable games within 198X.

https://www.pcgamer.com/rainbow-six-siege-operation-para-bellum/
Ubisoft has revealed new details about the next season of Rainbow Six Siege, including a name: Operation Para Bellum, borrowed from the Latin phrase meaning “prepare for war.” The announcement also gives us our very first official look at a pair of new operators as they trudge through a field of wheat toward an Italian vineyard.

The Council episode 2 goes live next week
https://www.pcgamer.com/the-council-episode-2-goes-live-next-week/
The Council is a vaguely Telltale-like adventure about a secret society in the late 1700s whose members include George Washington, Napoleon Bonaparte, a Papal legate, an English duchess, and you, a reedy, nondescript John Constantine type who's trying to find his mother. The first episode came out on March 13 and it was really quite good, and today Focus Home Interactive announced that episode two will be out on May 15.

Overwatch players are earning Play of the Game for killing robot gondoliers
https://www.pcgamer.com/overwatch-players-are-earning-play-of-the-game-for-killing-rialtos-omnic-gondoliers/
Ahh, Venice. The beautiful canal city recently made its way to Overwatch in the form of Rialto, a new Escort map.
However, something is wrong in Rialto. Through some sort of bug, killing an Omnic gondolier seems to invisibly count as scoring an elimination. As such, stringing together a handful of kills is causing the game to award Play of the Game honors to the heartless ro-boatman murderer.

E3 tweet points to a Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Zombies mode
https://www.pcgamer.com/e3-tweet-points-to-a-call-of-duty-black-ops-4-zombies-mode/
We know very little about Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 aside from the fact of its existence. A Zombies mode, for instance: Will it have one? The answer is almost certainly yes (obviously), but it hasn't been confirmed yet and so we don't actually know. But a tweet from the official E3 account earlier that went out earlier today sure makes it sound likely.

Free-to-play shooter Loadout will shut its servers later this month
https://www.pcgamer.com/free-to-play-shooter-loadout-will-shut-its-servers-later-this-month/
Released in 2014, Loadout is a free-to-play competitive shooter with a focus on ridiculous weaponry. Our reviewer loved it upon release, writing that its "gun customization and well executed twists on shooter staples make it a free-to-play game that doesn't feel like a compromise".
But it won't be around much longer. A spokesperson for studio Edge of Reality announced today that Loadout will go permanently offline on May 24. The reason? New European Union privacy regulations set to become enforceable on May 25 would require a fair bit of work done on the game in order to be compliant. The studio can't afford it.
