IGN has shared a new video, showing 6 minutes of gameplay footage from the latest version of Star Citizen. The mission showcased here is really boring – as you basically have to pick up a box and nothing more – however it shows the game’s beautiful visuals.

Game needs to hurry the hell up.
It will either be underwhelming from the years of hype... Or be the second coming of Jesus in the video game world.

The consoles don't seem to be able to run titles like Uncharted 4, Destiny 2, or Gears of War 4 at 1080p60.
What hope do they have at running a game where a spaceship can land right in front of you, dynamically.
People don't expect the next gen consoles before 2019, and that is probably a fair assumption.
It'd be impossible for anything in the console space to even come close to Star Citizen for half a year, one year, or even two years plus.
Unless we are getting the next-gen consoles 2018-2019, with a massive game at, or around launch.

Hopefully it can live up to the hype as a game.
On the tech side, they probably have a year or two, before they need to start worrying.
