With improvements to AI and more dynamic, emergent worlds like the upcoming RDR2, how long will it be before the characters in the games can comment on the very world they inhabit? Could we trust them to be unbiased? Would their role in the game make us more or less likely to accept their ability to be objective?
... Just a thought.
