During the time, the Democrats decided to take a sharp turn toward supporting the regressive left. Yep, that summarizes well... both parties have big issues and free market + social freedom + small government is better than both parties, but it makes sense for people to at least choose the one party that don't attack them on a daily basis.

Also has to do with millennials are going into the work force. The last thing you want to see is more taxes and higher cost of living taking your hard earned money.
