Jesus, you people cannot even take an ounce of criticism without loudly complaining about mean Polygon doing a clickbait!
The GoW, and I bloody well love them, are absolutely the epitome of toxic masculinity, mostly because the games never actually settled on whether or nor Kratos was meant to be sympathetic or not.
I can enjoy something while still realizing that, yes, the QTE sex scenes were a bit gratuitous.

Learn to take it on the chin ffs

Edit: having read the interview, I really struggle to imagine any other reason you might be angry if not for purposeful ignorance.
The main point the director makes, and the previous games never committed to is: Kratos was bad, what he did was bad, and try to present a story in which he has to reckon with what he passes on to his son.
It is literally impossible to ignore the question of toxic masculinity since the entire point of the game is Kratos' acknowledging his legacy is toxic.
This is not the evil SJWs injecting their agenda (it never is, cuz you made them up): this is the obvious, apparent plot of the game you just played.

your whole post is invalidated by your failure to define what toxic masculinity is

I use this cool site called Google, very helpful with finding stuff, highly recommended
