A Portable PS4 is not going to happen. The PS4 is considerably more powerful than the Switch, and a portable version, even in 2018/19 is not super feasible, certainly not at a competitive price. I think Sony is abandoning the portable market after the Vita.
If anything, I predict that PS5 is at least mentioned this coming E3, 2019 E3 at the latest, probably to be released in 2019 or 2020.
My real issue, is that the Switch hardware is fairly outdated, and I'm afraid they may well release an "upgraded" model, or even a straight up Switch 2, by 2020 as well, just to "keep up with the Joneses", which would suck for me, as I don't even own one yet, and am eventually planning to.
