Just because something is "left wing" or "right wing" doesn't mean it is actually incorrect or correct, they are simply two sides of a coin... Best place to be is in the center where you can weigh up the arguments either side put forth and go with whatever is more logically sound.

So with that in mind, I prefer to get my "news" from a mix of sources that are left and right-wing, that way I am less likely to remain ignorant on various issues.

If the news in question doesn't have evidence or citations, then I will take whatever claims it has with a grain of salt, regardless of it is left or right wing, because only idiots believe in something without empirical evidence.

It’s comforting to know that I’m not the only one who deciphers today’s news in a similar manner.
