Ironically the vast majority of times I read such claims is from 360 and Wii fanboys, generalizing the perspectives of PS3 supporters.
PS3 domination was supposed to begin on launch night: didn't happen.
No, prior to launch I stated the PS2 would win christmas 2006. This did happen.

No, but around that time before the European launch I did predict the PS3 would perform much better and beat the 360 in Europe, this did happen. A poll by me showed a vast majority of people shared this perspective.
I did predict in 2006 that the PS3 would outsell the 360 by christmas 2007 and since then the PS3 did so consistantly worldwide.

No way, most mentioned titles of influence are Metal Gear Solid 4, Gran Turismo 5 and Final Fantasy XIII (and to a lesser extend later on LittleBigPLanet/Home and Killzone).
Maybe you are mistaking Heavenly Sword with God of War 3, I did read such comments from time to time.

I did predict MGS4 would have a profound impact, especially reviving sales for Japan. The game seems to have a profound impact so far.
What would be you definition of domination? I wouldn't call outselling the competition, real domination per se. Before the Wii's launch I predicted the Wii would perform much better than the GameCube. I think good sales will keep going for quite some time, also by the time the PS3 starts to consistantly outsell it.
