Today the main differences between GOP and DMC is:
GOP want to make more debt to build stronger and stronger military, DMC want to make more debt to give free lunch to whoever want to cross the country's border unchecked.
In both ways, ther result will be the demise of US, there is already 21+ trillion dollars in debt whose yield rates are kept artificially low by the actions of th FED.
But since the FED is signalling that will no longer print more money to buy US debt (for now), the yields will skyrocket at some point, making US unable to even pay the interest rates of the debt.
