it makes no sense what you're saying, you're taking massive leaps in logic:

1- linking the recent dev kits rumours with a ps4 portable makes zero sense when even by your words the specs make it more powerful than the ps4. do you not only think a portable ps4 is incoming but it's also higher specced than the ps4 home console? c'mon man...

2- the ps4 will be out for 5 years this year, what is the purpose of releasing a handheld that is bound to the current generation. this would last for what... a year? 2 years maximum?

3- as several people pointed out there is no existing tech in the market to create something as powerful as the ps4 for gaming in a handheld format. remember it would have to use x86 architecture, not ARM (like the switch).


Sorry, just not going to happen in the way you're dreaming.

Maybe past 2022 there will be some maturity on the 7nm cpu/gpu architectures (or lower than 7nm) to create a decent low powered handheld ps5 version, but even then there will be a LOT of constraints. I just do not see it at all.
