Well then, if you say that HD console owners will be jealous of Wii exclusive games, I'm just rebutting with the simple fact that the Wii misses out on plenty of games too. And I'm not talking about GTA4, I'm talking about games like Beyond Good and Evil 2 or Resident Evil 5. I agree, if I only had a Wii I'd be very angry for not getting these games.
SC: Yes, it was a bit of a quick comment. Of course HD fans will be jealous of games that come to be Wii exclusively. A lot of this has to do with the fact that HD fans are realizing that they won't get every good game.
I Perdict: The problem with GTA sales falls down to these four points:
1. The HD consoles don't have amazing sales like the PS2 did.
2. GTA4 didn't launch during the holiday season.
3. The HD consoles won't have high, long term sales that contribute to the game's sales like the PS2 had.
4. There are fewer casual gamers on the HD consoles who will pick up GTA4 far from launch. That said, combined, GTA4 could and most likely will outsell all of the GTA games except San Andreas.
