https://www.pcgamer.com/gta-onlines-vespucci-job-is-worth-a-spin-this-week-with-double-gtadollar-and-experience/
As part of its ongoing Southern San Andreas Super Sport Series (try saying that after a few pints), GTA Online introduced The Vespucci Job last week—an Italian Job-inspired police chase 'em up, complete with knock-off Minis. For the second week running, the new mode is subject to double GTA$ and RP.

https://www.pcgamer.com/terraria-meets-diablo-in-david-breviks-new-game-it-lurks-below-now-in-early-access/
Diablo creator David Brevik announced his new passion project, a 2D sandbox RPG called It Lurks Below, earlier this year, citing games like Terraria, Minecraft and, yes, Diablo as major influences. Today, he—and by he, I mean Graybeard Games, the indie studio Brevik founded—announced It Lurks Below's Steam Early Access launch: it's now available on Steam for $20.

https://www.pcgamer.com/heres-details-on-magic-the-gathering-arenas-upcoming-economy-and-drafts/

https://www.pcgamer.com/rainbow-six-siege-bulletproof-camera-dropshotting/
This week has already produced a burst of small-but-significant developments for Rainbow Six Siege, and there's more. Today, we learned that deployable bulletproof cameras are coming to the game, along with a rework of the movement system and buffs to Echo—and they'll be available on the next test server, along with several other changes.

The Good Life, Swery's 'daily life RPG' murder mystery, gets a free demo
https://www.pcgamer.com/the-good-life-swerys-daily-life-rpg-murder-mystery-gets-a-free-demo/
With nine days left in The Good Life's second crowdfunding campaign, developer White Owls Inc, helmed by Deadly Premonition creator Hidetaka "Swery" Suehiro, released a free demo earlier today, which you can download here. Just extract it to a folder and run the topmost application. You'll need a gamepad to play it—ideally an Xbox controller, because let me tell you it does not play nice with PS4 controllers.

Try the demo for ambitious top-down action RPG Last Epoch
https://www.pcgamer.com/try-the-demo-for-ambitious-top-down-action-rpg-last-epoch/
Last Epoch is a "loot-based action RPG" focused on crafting and character-building. At least, it might be: at the moment, it's an ambitious idea seeking Kickstarter backing, with developer Eleventh Hour Games asking for $210,000 to bring it to life. At the time of writing, its campaign has raised $77,988 and will run for another 21 days. Luckily, it's already got a free demo you can try for yourself (the download link is at the top of the page, or try this page).

Epic seeks default judgment in lawsuit against 14-year-old Fortnite cheater and his mom
https://www.pcgamer.com/epic-seeks-default-judgment-in-lawsuit-against-14-year-old-fortnite-cheater-and-his-mom/
Epic Games filed a lawsuit against a couple of particularly determined Fortnite cheaters late last year, one of whom turned out to be a 14-year-old boy. That led to a scathing letter from the lad's mom, who said the studio "has no capability of proving" its claim, and even if it did, she hadn't given the boy consent to play the game, as required by Fortnite's terms and conditions. It was an epic response, you might say, which led to more legalistic maneuvering but no further response from the defendant or his mother.
As a result of that silence, Epic moved for a default judgment on February 13. But the court ruled that the letter sent by the mother in November should be construed as a motion to dismiss the case, which forced Epic to issue a response. It did so earlier this week, saying that "because Defendant has not carried his burden of proving Epic's Complaint fails to allege sufficient facts to state a claim for relief that is plausible on its face, his 'motion to dismiss' must be denied."

>>I wonder if they'll do the same with the possible Chinese cheaters...

Sonic Mania Plus release date set
https://www.pcgamer.com/sonic-mania-plus-release-date-set/
To paraphrase Andy's review, Sonic Mania is the best Sonic game in decades. It's also responsible for one of the silliest features ever penned on PC Gamer dot com. Don't read too much into the latter (seriously, Phil, Chemical Plant Zone has the best music in the entire series), but know that the strength of the former has led to Sonic Mania Plus—a definitive version of the original that comes with new stuff. It's due on PC in July.

Flotilla 2 will fling you into tactical space battles in VR
https://www.pcgamer.com/flotilla-2-will-fling-you-into-tactical-space-battles-in-vr/
I know it launched eight years ago, but it’s strange that we don’t talk about Blendo Games’ Flotilla more. It’s a playful space romp full of turn-based tactical battles that evoke the real-time scraps of Homeworld. I frequently think about it, and wonder if Blendo will ever return to its distinctly orange universe and its aggressive space critters. Good news, then! Blendo is indeed returning to Flotilla.
Bad news: It’s exclusively for the HTC Vive.

Final Fantasy 15's Noctis and pals have come to Minecraft
https://www.pcgamer.com/final-fantasy-15s-noctis-and-pals-have-come-to-minecraft/
It looks like Final Fantasy 15’s road-tripping boys have gotten a wee bit lost on their way to a wedding or a fight or a chocobo race. They’re so lost, in fact, that they’ve managed to drive right out of Eos and enter the considerably more blocky world of Minecraft. They’ve dragged some pals along, too, including those of the more monstrous persuasion.
