Particle effects better in Horizon is false. If there is one thing GOW kills every game with its those particle effects. Infamous: Second Son has better particle effects than Horizon. God of War has the best of any game I've played. Character textures are better as well. |
Do you play on OG PS4 or PS4 Pro? I've beaten Horizon twice on my Pro with a 4K HDR Sony Bravia, and currently playing God of War - and the particle effects are in Guerilla Games' favor. I'm not saying GOW's particle effects are garbage, just that HZD's is better - especially when fighting Thunderjaws and Behemoths.
The ice particles in GOW are impressive though.
