Not in the hostile takeover sense.
As in the "I want to work with somebody sense".
Apart from the modding scene, Valve hasn't really worked with anyone coming to their studio for years.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
