Basically it says Ubisoft only really make open world games now - I'm fine with that as I enjoy that sort of game. As you say FC5 and ACO are a shooter and and action-adventure game, plus the worlds are interesting to traverse.
You're last point, I get where you're coming from but it's more a selling point - negative videos tend to get more views. Take zero punctuation, he's openly observed that people don't like the rare videos he makes where his comments are positive.
