Super Mario Bros. games - felt completely pointless.
Uncharted 3 - could not get past the auto-platforming.
Tomb Raider reboot - more like QTE raider.
Red Dead Redemption - really good voice acting and story setup, mediocre everything else.
Bayonetta - kind of creepy. I hated it from an aesthetic standpoint.

I don't play cruddy tacked-on multiplayer modes on games that were clearly meant to be singleplayer only. I also don't play multiplayer on Assassin's Creed or Uncharted. No, you can't change my mind on that one, and no you will not shame me for it because my values are different from yours, so if I only care about the singleplayer, then as far as I'm concerned the singleplayer is the only mode that matters. |
If you haven't played it then how do you know it's cruddy and tacked-on?
That makes no sense to me. I don't play multiplayer modes, either, but I also don't pretend to know if they're good or not or make some kind of judgement about them because they're connected to single-player modes. One does not affect the quality of the other. You could take the greatest multiplayer game in the world and tack it on to a game "clearly meant to be singleplayer only" and neither one suddenly becomes less fun because of the association.
