Yes. The key point here is that New Leaf is still selling. It will likely surpass all 3D Marios bar 1. AC titles have legendary legs. New Leaf and WW beat out MOST 3D Mario titles, so yes you are missing something.

umm last quarter  mario 3d world out sold it, by like 200k. so i doubt it will surpass mario 3d world.
