I and others don't give a fuck what copmanies decisions are based on. That is not why we are upset. We are thinkning from a purely consumer point of view.

Nintendo fans have constantly been given the shaft in terms of multiplats. They are either hugely gimped, or super late. We get an anouncment for a SF2, the others get a street fighter collection. We get a Mass Effect 3 announcement and others get a Mass Effect Trilogy. We get Rayman Legends early, oh wait, no they delayed it to release simultanious with other systems.

Fuck the company reasons, that is not what the bitching is about.  I don't give a shit about their reasons, whether they make sense or not. Whether there is a reason or not, financially or development problems wise. The point is that the Nintendo consumer constantly gets the shaft in regards to multiplats/ports.

Us consumers want to have a comparison to see if a 3rd party game can sell as well on a nintendo system as others. It is US, not the fucking company that wants to compare. To see how dark souls would sell on the Switch versus the PS4. We can not have a fair comparison if one version comes out months later. Even if the Switch version sells more, it is still not a fair comparison. We want to see and prove to companies that the switch is a viable console for their games to release on.

The irony in this is, I completely agree 100% with this specific idea: "We are thinkning from a purely consumer point of view."

I absolutely hate it when people excuse companies by saying some bullshit about how companies can get away with it because they're companies. Just as companies are trying the best they can to get as much money as possible, consumers have to try the best they can to get the best treatment, care, and product as much as possible. And there's almost never an excuse that makes sense with the "but but it's a company" line of thought.

That being said, I'm not saying that such extreme opinions are bad because I care about the company. I'm saying them because they are my opinion. I don't think it's wrong for them to release it on other platforms first if they are having some trouble with Switch. Quite frankly, I think most people are overreacting because it is just a delay of a few months, but that's just me. And I think that the fact you seem so angry because you want to see third party sales with parity release dates so bad ... is ... a bit extreme. But I will not convince you of that, and frankly I don't care to. I just think the reply you quoted was fair and true, and it was meant for extremists, not normal people.
