Companies don't make decisions based on how well they can compare the potential of one console platform to others. And ultimately, From Software probably knows they are going to take some hit on the Switch by not having a simultaneous release. Also, I think it's a bit unfair to say companies do x for other consoles but won't do it for Nintendo. Notice how you said "other platforms". Plural. A company wouldn't delay a game for one platform while multiple platforms are waiting to be served. And even if they did, it would be for a platform like the PS4, which is a juggernaught for third party sales (I'm not the ones making these kind of distinctions btw, that's going by third party logic).

That being said, I agree. That is one of the reasons I'm personally a bit disappointed that it isn't coming to Switch at the same time as other consoles. Because it would be interesting to see how close it can do at parity release date. Of course, in my very comment, I said that it is fine to be disappointed. A lot of the disappointment around this delay is pretty normal, and rational. Some of it isn't, and I felt it was obvious that was what I was replying to.

I and others don't give a fuck what copmanies decisions are based on. That is not why we are upset. We are thinkning from a purely consumer point of view.

Nintendo fans have constantly been given the shaft in terms of multiplats. They are either hugely gimped, or super late. We get an anouncment for a SF2, the others get a street fighter collection. We get a Mass Effect 3 announcement and others get a Mass Effect Trilogy. We get Rayman Legends early, oh wait, no they delayed it to release simultanious with other systems.

Fuck the company reasons, that is not what the bitching is about.  I don't give a shit about their reasons, whether they make sense or not. Whether there is a reason or not, financially or development problems wise. The point is that the Nintendo consumer constantly gets the shaft in regards to multiplats/ports.

Us consumers want to have a comparison to see if a 3rd party game can sell as well on a nintendo system as others. It is US, not the fucking company that wants to compare. To see how dark souls would sell on the Switch versus the PS4. We can not have a fair comparison if one version comes out months later. Even if the Switch version sells more, it is still not a fair comparison. We want to see and prove to companies that the switch is a viable console for their games to release on.

The Street Fighter Collection is coming to Switch though?!? It sounds like the issue is though that you link your identity to Nintendo, you need to separate them.
