They really don't need an instant smash hit given it's a strange concept, releasing in April, and is rather low risk for them. We'll know whether or not this thing is dead in the water or is doing well and has legs (as in not merely a fad) by some time early next year, but until then we probably shouldn't leap to conclusions one way or the other regardless of how poorly or well it does through most of 2018.

Of course, if they market this thing and it still flops in the holiday season it's probably donezo, but we're a far ways off from that.
