Yeah I always expected it. I also think ORI 2 will be on steam.

I'd love to see some numbers comparing steam sales to windows 10.

Someone in that thread said something along the lines of it is better to sale on steam and lose 30% to royalties, than it is on windows 10 and lose 0%.

That is a pretty convincing photo though.

Oh yeah... if its a choice between steam and windows store, I bet like 90% would take the steam version isntead.
Its just odd to me.
Xbox Needs all the exclusives it can get if they want to sell the hardware.... this comeing to steam isnt gonna help it.

Windows store is utter trite to deal with and has a very, very tiny list of games on there that contain no form of mod support in any shape or form. Why would PC users ever bother with WS over Steam?.

Also, because it's on Windows store it means it's not exactly exclusive, so what do MS do then if they were to make it exclusive just for Xbox but do nothing for their PC side?.

All I keep seeing here and there are these "ruh oh, it's not exclusive, das bad yo", and then I ask "well, what are you going to do for the other side then?".

MS have said before that they aren't going to split resources to go back to the early 00's of making just games only for PC and just games only for Xbox (AoE being the only title so far due to it being an RTS). They have said they see both as being part of a family, so the resources apparently are pooled into both (even though that is false).

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
