So if you aren't buying a console for future potential releases, then what does influence your purchasing decision?

In the end though, it's ultimately irrelevant, your purchasing decisions are not going to be representative of the persons next to you, you aren't the entire market.

The games already out, essentially. If we're talking about irrelevance, someone is not going to be buying a PC to be playing Switch games emulated on it either.

That is a False Dichotomy which is a logical fallacy. -  Someone isn't going to buy a Switch to play PC games either.

We could apply the same argument to the Switch and 3DS as well, the Switch doesn't have allot of 3DS exclusives, so what is the point in owning a Switch?

But if we are talking specifically about Doom (Which this thread is about), it can be played mobile on the PC, making that argument entirely redundant anyway.

Fact is... You have been wrong twice now.

And they were:
* Emulation is piracy.
* PC Doesn't get all of Nintendo's exclusives.
