18, when I went to uni and moved to North Wales (from northern England). Remained there to do BA, MA, working, then PhD on a scholarship. Returned home after 3 years of the PhD (and 8 years away from home) after I spent money travelling and needed to finish PhD without funds.
Will have been back at home for 2 years this July, possibly moving out again this summer - to Zhuhai, southern China, of all places (for work).
