from the general gist on the game so far.
- hub world design (think of it as levels connected via a central place you navigate through)
- there is a main path but there are areas you can branch off to whenever you want.
- side areas also have optional bosses which is said by some to be just as good as the main quest
- metrovania style backtracking (see things in levels that you can't access but get items or abilities later in the game that allows you come back to them...if you can remember where you saw them)
- 25-30hr main quest.... if doing all the side stuff should be a 43-50hr game.
I doubt anyone has described it solely or primarily as a "linear game"
