I don't think it will "flop" in April, but it's normal for Nintendo games to start slow and build up, especially the more casual ones like Kirby and Animal Crossing. Just Dance is another example. Since Labo fits this category, I think what @Mar1217 is suggesting is really reasonable.

Kirby and animal crossing are not slow starters, and its not like kirby does amazing anyway, it sales around 1.5-2  million each entry.
