games don't flop in march in start selling during the holidays, it's pretty rare.

I don't think it will "flop" in April, but it's normal for Nintendo games to start slow and build up, especially the more casual ones like Kirby and Animal Crossing. Just Dance is another example. Since Labo fits this category, I think what @Mar1217 is suggesting is really reasonable.
