In what first seemed like an amicable split, former Rockstar boss Leslie Benzies sued his former employer in April 2016. Benzies alleged he was unlawfully dismissed and was entitled to unpaid royalties in excess of $150 million. Now, the ex-GTA 5 producer has suffered a setback in his case against Take-Two, Rockstar, and Dan and Sam Houser.

https://www.pcgamer.com/blitz-exploit-rainbow-six-siege/
If you've been playing Rainbow Six Siege this week, you might've found yourself dying to German shieldbearer Blitz a little more often than usual. A recently discovered exploit makes Blitz aim like John Wick without having to leave the safety of his shield.

Hack the deep web and hide from hitmen in offbeat horror game Welcome to the Game 2
https://www.pcgamer.com/hack-the-deep-web-and-hide-from-hitmen-in-offbeat-horror-game-welcome-to-the-game-2/
Welcome to the Game 2 is a first-person horror game about hacking. You play as investigative reporter Clint Edwards, and it's on you to rescue a woman named Amalea from a group of mysterious masked hitmen. Your only clue is a clip of Amalea pleading for help, so to track her down you've got to dive headfirst into the deep web, the portion of the Internet which doesn't register in normal browsers or search engines.

Hearthstone's next update will let you borrow a friend's deck and play it against them
https://www.pcgamer.com/hearthstones-next-update-will-let-you-borrow-a-friends-deck-and-play-it-against-them/
With Hearthstone's Witchwood expansion just three days away, Blizzard held their customary pre-expansion livestream today to show off the rest of the set's new cards and to wisely take any excuse to put Day9 and Ben Brode in the same room. And while plenty of cards were exciting, for many people the best thing to come out of today's stream was a new feature called Borrowed Decks which—you guessed it—let's you borrow your friend's decks.

Your Far Cry 5 companions hang out at a pizza joint together when you're not with them
https://www.pcgamer.com/your-far-cry-5-companions-hang-out-at-a-pizza-joint-together-when-youre-not-with-them/
A while back I spent three days following my Skyrim wife, Mjoll the Lioness, after dismissing her as a follower because I was curious if she would really walk all the way from Solstheim to our house in Solitude (she did, with some adventures along the way). I had the same curiosity about my Far Cry 5 followers—when I dismiss them, do they legitimately find their way back to their respective homes?

The Myst 25th Anniversary Collection will bring the full series to Windows 10
https://www.pcgamer.com/the-myst-25th-anniversary-collection-will-bring-the-full-series-to-windows-10/
2018 marks the 25th anniversary of the great point-and-click adventure Myst, and to celebrate the big birthday Cyan announced last month that updated versions of all the games in the series would be released later this year. Today the studio launched a Kickstarter to support that effort, with details on what's coming—seven games instead of five, for one thing—and how they're being updated.

>>This has to be one of those Kickstarters to gauge the real interest of the players, right?

Try the demo for Renaine, a 2D platformer 'about overcoming failure'
https://www.pcgamer.com/try-the-demo-for-renaine-a-2d-platformer-about-overcoming-failure/
Renaine is an 8-bit 2D platformer about an immortal knight, Aine, trying to avenge her friend Ren by killing a dragon. It sounds like a standard fantasy setup, but developer Octosoft insists there's more to its story, and I'm inclined to believe them because there's certainly more to Renaine's platforming than meets the eye. Luckily there's a free online demo you can try for yourself.

Portable fort-sprouting grenades are coming to Fortnite
https://www.pcgamer.com/fortnite-port-a-forts/
Dubbed Port-a-Forts, the items sprout "a quick defensive position upon impact." It's unclear what type of fort they'll spawn, though I'd wager they make the basic recon fort or variations of it. We're assuming it's a throwable and not a trap-based item due to the use of "impact" in its description.

Nexon has been fined by the Korean Fair Trade Commission over loot boxes
https://www.pcgamer.com/nexon-has-been-fined-by-the-korean-fair-trade-commission-over-loot-boxes/
Three game companies, including free-to-play giant Nexon, have been penalised by South Korea's Fair Trade Commission over the use of loot boxes. Nexon, NextFloor and Netmarble have been fined a total of around $1m over deceptive in-game item sales, including randomized loot boxes. Nexon suffers the brunt of that figure, with its share coming in at $875,000.
