Feral Interactive releases an open-source performance tool for Linux, GameMode

Feral today released GameMode, an Open Source tool that helps Linux users to get the best performance out of their games. According to the press release, GameMode instructs your CPU to automatically run in Performance Mode when playing games.
The first Feral release to integrate the tool is Rise of the Tomb Raider, an incredible action-adventure coming to Linux this month.

Modder ‘LucidAPs’ has released a really interesting mod for Skyrim Special Edition. High Poly Project is an on going process to improve the models of the game with more polygons , UV edits or by just replacing them all together. Not only that, but the modder is offering a 4K Texture Pack for these new objects.

This mod adds split-screen support to the PC version of Star Wars: Battlefront 2

When Star Wars: Battlefront 2 came out, it supported split-screen functionalities on consoles but not on the PC. And, as you may have guessed, modders were able to release a mod that restores this mode on our platform.

The Witcher 3 is one of those RPGs that people just keep on playing and keep on modding. Our roundup of the Witcher 3's best mods include some projects that are still ongoing and totally rework combat and leveling into a different sort of RPG, while other mods are hellbent on making the game look like it did in early demos. To that end, a recent mod called E3 UI and HUD promises to restore The Witcher 3's interface to what it looked like in 2014, a year before CD Projekt finished the game. Overall it makes the menus and map a little more flavorful and less utilitarian, which could be a nice change if you already know The Witcher 3 like the back of your hand.
