Capcom has announced that Resident Evil 7 has sold more than 5.1 million units worldwide on all platforms. In addition, Capcom revealed that Resident Evil 7 won the award for Best VR Audio at the 2018 Game Audio Network Guild Awards.

With an estimated 90 million copies sold across all platforms—PS3, Xbox 360, PS4, Xbox One and PC—GTA 5 is thought to have accrued somewhere in the vicinity of $6 billion since launch in 2013. As reported by MarketWatch (via RockstarIntel), this makes Take Two and Rockstar's open world crime sim more successful than both Star Wars and Gone With The Wind—which are said to have made upwards of $3 billion, adjusted for inflation.

NVIDIA has announced that it will stop releasing Game Ready drivers for its Fermi graphics cards. This means that all of its future Game Ready drivers, starting from those that will be coming out later this month, will only be available on Kepler, Maxwell, and Pascal series GPUs.

One of the biggest issues of all Gamebryo and Creation Engine games (from Oblivion and Skyrim to Fallout New Vegas and Fallout 4) is their mediocre LOD. Due to the way these engines work, the horizon in the aforementioned games is full of blurry textures and lacks many details/objects. Thankfully, modder ‘pilamin’ released a mod that noticeably improves it in Fallout New Vegas.

The team behind the Fallout New Vegas mod for Fallout 4 has released some brand new screenshots, showcasing the Crescent Canyon. Crescent Canyon was reworked and redesigned by its Level Design Lead Spacetimebender and aside from being a beautiful and deadly region in Fallout: New Vegas, it also marks the southernmost point of the Mojave Wasteland that can be visited by the player.

Skyrim VR launched earlier this week, giving Oculus Rift and HTC Vive owners an excuse to jump back in and slay dragons for the umpteenth time. I'd love to play it, but I don't doubt that at some point the VR novelty will wear off and you'll be left playing the vanilla version of Skyrim, and all that entails. Eventually, you'll probably want to install mods—and you can already do just that through both Nexus Mod Manager and Vortex, the Skyrim Nexus's (relatively) new mod management tool.

Modder ‘MrFroz’ has released a total conversion mod for GZDoom that brings together two classic first-person shooters; Doom and Blood. Blood: Dead on Arrival features eight levels and two secret levels, an arsenal of Blood’s weapons mixed in with some fun surprises like molotovs and an M60 and a combination of DOOM and Blood enemies.

The classic Doom is being faithfully recreated in the original Unreal, demo available for download
