Honestly, we should probably also require drivers to insure their vehicles, to cover them and other drivers. A permit test would be a great idea, making sure they understand the rules of the road. If we did that, we could have a temporary practicing period, completely supervised, so they are ready to drive. It would also be best that they take a road test, before they're allowed to operate a vehicle alone. |
I read an article the other day about a women who was arreseted for like her 9th DUI. She has no license, it has been revoked due to DUI's in the past. She is wanted in like 6 states.
But guess what. With all of those rules, regulations, laws, testing, ect. she still was out and about drinking and driving.
It's the same for guns. The only people who will be following the rules and giving up their guns or not buying illegal guns will be law abiding citizens. People intent on murder, mass killings, crime, ect wont care about the rules. The U.S. is a huge place. So easy to illegally sell things without getting caught. Also our border is huge. Super easy to sneak in illegal drugs/firearms.
