You didnt list any regulations, you listed nice to have things such as condoms and lifeguards. With guns though you are taking about using state force to limit or eliminate sales.

You can't regulate sex.  What could you do?  Lock people up?  Give everyone underwear with locks on them?

I wasn't talking about using state force to limit or eliminate sales.  I was merely pointing out that certain things in life do have regulations on them.  Yet strangely we have incredible access to them.  Food is regulated.  There are tons of laws against food like unpasteurized milk.  Drugs are regulated.  I can't put random pills in a jar and start selling them.
Do you struggle to find milk?  Do you struggle to find tylenol?  Do you struggle to buy cars?  Do you struggle to buy an airplane?  (Aside from the cost factor).  All of those things are pretty well regulated.

Republicans like to blame mental illness, and I think that's a reasonable thing to look at.  But strangely they don't do anything about it...  Maybe not that strange.

Actually weapons are highly regulated too. You cant buy nukes, chemical weapons, F15's and the list goes on and on. You can buy personal firearms which are the equivalent of pasteurized milk for the masses.
