They didnt really spin anything. They said it was the fast selling MS new Ip and then gave us the total amount of players. The last time MS gave us units sold for a game was Halo 5. So they dont like giving sales numbers.

They didn't gave straight sales number for Halo5 as well, they said they had shipped 5M and that the revenue of Halo5 (which included the bundled consoles) was 400M... MS THIS GEN doesn't like to talk about numbers, you mean right.

 

And Sorry, the spin and wish to induce people to associate the fastest selling with the 2M is quite obvious after seeing they spin so many times.
