Yeah PS3 and even 360 CPUs will be comparable to PCs for a long time. (For the 360 mainly because PC game developer cannot depend on multiple cores and won't utilize them as well, for the Cell because its just an awesome floating point cruncher that has many reserves that will be unlocked when devs are increasingly comfortable with it)
But for the looks GPUs are much more important and here high-end PCs running high-end games will kill consoles in the midterm. The actual high-end GPUs are already many times more powerful than the older GPUs of both consoles.
